Cookie & Local Storage Notice
Draft revision: November 5, 2026 · English version · Applies to proposed v22 beta
1. What the game uses
Country Forge stores essential information in browser localStorage, including a multiplayer session token, selected language, graphics/game preferences, a referral code when received, and your acknowledgement of this notice. This is technically local storage, not necessarily an HTTP cookie, but may be regulated similarly.
2. Why it is necessary
These settings support sign-in sessions, returning user preferences, and correct game behavior. Without the session token, the browser may require a new login. You may clear them using browser site-data controls; this will sign you out locally.
3. Optional tracking
At the time of this draft, no advertising cookies, third-party analytics trackers, or personalized ad pixels are embedded by the Country Forge team. For that reason, the current notice has no fictional accept/reject toggle for optional tracking. If optional analytics or marketing tools are later added, players should receive the legally required choices before such tools activate.
4. Third-party tools
When configured, Google Identity Services loads sign-in resources; Stripe or PayPal is involved when you choose those payment methods. Those services may use their own cookies or similar technology governed by their notices. The game operator must review provider behavior and regional consent requirements before deployment.
5. Your controls
You can clear local storage via browser settings or use Sign Out. If optional tracking is added, consent settings must be added to the game. Privacy questions: [PRIVACY EMAIL].
